12,649 Bangladeshi devotees reach KSA for Hajj

So far, 12,649 Bangladeshi devotees have reached Saudi Arabia for Hajj this year.

Information available on the Hajj portal until Sunday night shows that among the pilgrims who went to Saudi Arabia, 3,747 devotees travelled under government management, and 8,902 people travelled under private management.

These devotees arrived in Saudi Arabia on 32 flights from Bangladesh. Biman Bangladesh Airlines operates 11 of these flights, Saudi Airlines operates 7, and Flynas Airlines operates 14.

On May 9, Bangladesh Airlines’ first dedicated Hajj flight of the year departed Dhaka for Saudi Arabia with 415 pilgrims. The flights will end on June 10.

It should be noted that the Holy Hajj will be held on June 16 subject to the sighting of the moon. The first return flight of pilgrims will begin on June 20 and end on July 22.
