Fourteen more patients died at the Covid unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital in the past 24 hours till Monday morning.
"Of the deceased, five were Covid-19 positive while nine others died with Covid-like-symptoms,” said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.
Among the fatalities, four hailed from Natore, three from Rajshahi, two each from Chapainawabganj, Naogaon, and Kushtia, and one from Pabna.
As many as 508 patients, including 64 in the last 24 hours, are undergoing treatment against 454 beds at the Covid unit, he added.
Some 56 people were discharged from the hospital in the past 24 hours.
