Fourteen more Covid patients died in the past 24 hours at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital till Monday morning, according to the district's health officials.
"Of the deceased, seven were Covid-19 positive while the remaining seven died with Covid-like-symptoms, said Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, director of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH).
Among the fatalities, seven were from Rajshahi, five from Chapainawabganj and one each from Naogaon and Natore.
With 78 fresh cases, a total of 442 people are currently undergoing Covid treatment against 357 Covid-dedicated beds hospital where 17 were in ICU unit.
On Sunday, 188 samples were tested in the hospital's lab and 374 in the PCR lab. Of these, 42 people were identified as Covid positive in the RMCH Lab and 107 in the PCR Lab.
As per the test ratio of the samples, the infection rate in Rajshahi was 27.84 per cent and 18.18 per cent in Chapainawabganj.
So far, 361 people died at RMCH till Monday morning.
