A total of 182 students of Khulna University (KU) have been selected for the National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship for the academic session of 2023-24.
The Ministry of Science and Technology for Research is giving the fellowship in three categories - Physical Science, Food and Agriculture Science and Biological and Medical Sciences.
The ministry recently published a circular seeking applications for the fellowship.
Of the selected students, 88 are in the Physical Science category, 69 in the Food and Agriculture Science category and 36 students are in the Biological and Medical Sciences category.
One person has been nominated for the fellowship from the Fisheries and Marine Resource Technology discipline as a PhD student.
