1st International Energy Conference: National and Global Issues (ENCON23) will be organised by the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
The 2 Day conference from dec 14 to 15 will begin at 9:30am on Wednesday in BUET ECE Building.
There are about 41 technical papers in this two-day event will be presented. Besides, key-notes and invitees from domestic and foreign renowned energy-experts there will be guest speeches, read a press release.
Among the invitees will be researchers from the US, Australia and Malaysia. The conference organised mainly offline, but also has the facility of connecting online. The country's top academic researchers, government policymakers, senior business leaders will be present to deliver lectures and participate in open panel discussions.
What kind of challenges will come in the country's energy sector in the coming years, what kind of global opportunities can come, how Bangladesh and its young researchers will solve this future challenge or what will be researched - these are the main seed mantras of this conference. There are three topics on the agenda in the open panel discussion - Energy Policy, Energy Technology and Energy Business and Finance.
The chief guest is conference the Honorable vice-chancellor Prof Dr Satya prasad majumder and pro-vice-chancellor Prof Abdul jabbar khan, BUET. There is also the Main Organising Committee, the Technical Committee and a seven-member International Advisory Committee. The conference is being implemented by BUET's Energy and Sustainability Research Institute (IESD).
