Two people were killed and two others injured when a bus collided head-on with a CNG-run three-wheeler in Dhaka’s Banasree area on Sunday.
“The accident occurred when the three-wheeler and a bus collided in front of the Famous Specialized Hospital in Banasree at 11:00am”, Farukul Alam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Khilgaon police station, said while confirming the matter to The Business Post.
The driver of the three-wheeler and its passenger Fatema Akhter died in the collission, while two of her sons sustained injuries.
The injured are currently undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, the OC added.
The identity of the three-wheeler driver could not be confirmed yet. The bodies have been kept in the morgue of the emergency department of DMCH.
