The Supreme Court administration has suspended two administrative officers of the High Court Division on charges of corruption.
The suspended officials are - Khan Md Sirajul Islam, Dhaka affidavit commissioner of the High Court Division, and Md Abdur Rashid, commissioner of affidavits.
Supreme Court Spokesman Md Saifur Rahman confirmed the matter in a press statement on Friday.
The statement said departmental cases were filed against the two officers while they were on duty as per the rules of service of the Supreme Court and they were suspended on charges of misconduct, corruption, and anti-office discipline.
