At least two people were burnt to death in a fire that broke out at a timber warehouse at Akbar Shah Colonel Hat in Chattogram Monday afternoon.
Confirming the number of casualties, the Fire Service and Civil Defence media cell said they received the information about fire at 3:50pm.
Ten firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at 5:30pm, it said.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
