Two motorcycle riders were killed in a road accident on Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover in Dhaka in the early hours of Wednesday.
The deceased were Md Masum Mia, 28, of Jatrabari, a subcontractor by profession, and Md Nasir, 35, of Jurain, a police informant.
Wari police station Sub-Inspector Mizanur Rahman said being informed through ‘999’ police went to the spot and found the duo lying in a pool of blood on the flyover adjacent to the Rajdhani Supermarket mosque.
They were sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where the on-duty doctor pronounced them dead, he said.
The bodies have been kept at the morgue.
