Police have arrested two madrasa students in Kushtia for their alleged involvement in vadalising an under-construction sculpture of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the district town on Friday night.
The duo were nabbed during a drive carried out at a madrasa in the town last night, confirmed a top official of Kushtia Police.
They were identified by analysing a CCTV footage of the incident. Details will be informed at a press briefing today, said the official.
