Another two million doses of Sinopharm vaccine doses are set to arrive in Bangladesh from China Saturday night on two separate flights.
Confirming the matter, the Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of China in Bangladesh, Hualong Yan, said each aircraft will have 10 lakh doses of the vaccine.
Directorate General of Health Services Director General Dr ABM Khurshid Alam said the vaccines will arrive at around 11:45pm on Saturday at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Earlier in the first phase, Bangladesh received 20 lakh doses of Sinopharm vaccine from China.
In addition, Bangladesh has received another 11 lakh doses of the vaccine in two rounds as a gift from China.
