Twenty one more patients died at the Covid unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital in the past 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
"Of the deceased, ten were Covid-19 positive while eleven others died with Covid-like-symptoms,” said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.
Among the fatalities, seven hailed from Rajshahi, five from Pabna, four from Naogaon, three from, and one each from Chapainawabganj and Jhenidah.
With newly admitted 55 patients, a total of 399 patients are undergoing treatment against 513 beds at the Covid unit, he added.
