3 killed hit by train in Dhaka

Three people have been killed hit by a train in three different areas of the capital. 

Dhaka Railway Police Station (Kamalapur) Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mazharul Haque confirmed the matter on Friday noon.

He said one person was killed when hit by a train leaving Dhaka on the railway line near Kawran Bazar on Friday noon. He was identified as Mansur Helal, 25, from Dhanbari area of ​​Tangail.

Besides, two unidentified persons were killed when hit by a train at the railway line between Tejgaon and Banani area on Thursday night. They were believed to be aged between 25 to 40, he added. 

Their bodies have been sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy, Mazharul Haque further said.

The body of Mansur Helal has been handed over to his relatives in response to their request, he said also.
