The Rapid Action Battalion, in separate drives in Begumganj and Sonaimuri upazilas of Noakhali, arrested three drug peddlers with 1,008 pieces of yaba tablets.
According to a press release issued by RAB-11 on Sunday, the detainees were identified as Md Rubel, 28, from Chowmuhani municipality, Md Borhan, 45, resident of Sonaimuri upazila and Md Babor, 30, an inhabitant of Begumganj upazila of the district.
RAB personnel also seized a CNG-run auto-rickshaw, eight mobile SIM cards, five mobile phone sets, and a power bank, read the release.
