The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) claimed that a total of 35 Supreme Court lawyers have died with coronavirus symptoms since March 12.
SCBA sent a letter to Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain on in this regard on Wednesday (July 8).
Hundreds of lawyers have fallen sick and a number of justices and judges of lower courts have been infected with the virus, added the letter.
A total of 44 judges and 167 staff of subordinate courts were infected with coronavirus while working at virtual courts till July 6, law ministry said on Tuesday (7 July).
