Health minister Zahid Maleque has said that three crore Covid vaccine doses will be administered in the country every month from November.
“So far, 21 crore doses have been purchased and there is no shortage of vaccine doses in the country,” he said.
The minister said this at a discussion meeting on the occasion of the 58th birthday of Sheikh Russell at the Sheikh Russell National Gastroliver Institute and Hospital in the capital’s Mohakhali area on Tuesday.
"The government is procuring 21 crore doses of vaccine, which will arrive in phases. Six crore doses have already been administered. Soon the entire population will be brought under vaccination,” the minister said.
