Four people were killed and several others injured as a fire erupted when a truck rammed into a microbus causing its gas cylinder to explode in Hetimganj-Pashchim Bazar area of Golapganj upazila of Sylhet around 5:30am on Wednesday.
The deceased couldn’t be identified immediately.
Golapganj police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Harun Ur Rashid confirmed the matter to the media.
On information, a team of Fire Service rushed to the spot and doused the fire within half an hour.
The bodies of the deceased have been recovered from the spot and sent to the morgue of Sylhet MAG Osmani Hospital, said the OC.
