A couple and their two children were slaughtered by miscreants in Kalaroa upazila of Satkhira.
Police recovered the throat-slit bodies from the deceased’s Kholshi village residence in Helatola union of the upazila early Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Shahinur Rahman, 40, a hatchery owner, his wife Sabina Khatun, 30, son Mahi 9 and daughter Tasnim 6.
Shahinur’s younger brother Raihanul Islam said there was a land dispute between the family and some neighbours.
Police have started an investigation over the incident, said Kalaroa police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Mofizul Islam.
