The law enforcers have arrested 450 people so far over the recent sectarian violence across the country.
As many as 71 cases have also been filed in this regard, Assistant Inspector General of police (Media and Public Relations) Md Kamruzzaman said in a press note on Monday night.
“Drives are on to apprehend the perpetrators,” he added.
Of late, the country saw a number of sectarian attacks during and after the just concluded Durga Puja, following an alleged desecration of the Holy Quran at a puja mandap in Cumilla on October 13.
