The 46th BCS (Bangladesh Civil Service) preliminary test is scheduled to be held on April 26, said the Public Service Commission (PSC) after a special meeting on Sunday.
Member of the commission, Professor Syed Md Golam Faruk confirmed this to the media.
He said, “In today’s meeting, it has been decided that the preliminary test of 46th BCS will take place on April 26. We have also planned to take written test and publish the result quickly to help recover the losses caused by the postponement.”
As per the new schedule, the exam will be held simultaneously at centres in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh.
