A total of 48 Bangladeshi citizen and a dead-body stranded in Thailand due to flight suspension amid outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic arrived today at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) by a chartered flight of US-Bangla Airlines at 4:20 pm.
Kamrul Islam, General Manager (PR) of the US-Bangla airlines said the flight arrived in Dhaka with the permission of the Airport authorities and Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
“The deceased person had gone to Thailand for treatment, but after death there was no service running to bring the dead-body”.
