A task force led by Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained five bus passengers with one kg of crystal methamphetamine at Bhatairy crossing Wednesday morning.
BGB-8 Battalion Captain Lieutenant Colonel Shahed Minhaj said, based on secret information, a team of BGB raided a Chattogram-bound Shyamoli Paribahan bus from Pabna and recovered the drug from their possession.
"The crystal drug was in a bag in the luggage compartment. At present police and narcotics control officers are interrogating the detainees," he added.
