Police have been shown five officials of a juvenile correction centre in Jashore arrested in connection with a case filed over the deaths of three adolescents on 13 August.
Jessore Police Superintendent Md Ashraf confirmed the matter to the Business Post on Saturday.
The arrestees are- Correction centre’s Superintendent Abdullah Al Masud, the assistant caretaker of the center Masum Billah, Psychosocial Counselor (Probation Officer) Mushfiqur
Rahman, Physical teacher Shahanur Alam and technical teacher Omar Faruk.
Earlier on 14 August, the superintendent of a juvenile correction centre in Jashore was suspended and ten people including the centre’s officials and Ansar men were held for interrogation over a clash that killed the trio.
