At least seven people have been killed following a collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw near Mulkandi area of Daulatpur upazila of the district.
Confirming the news Rezaul Karim, officer-in-charge of Daulatpur police station said the accident took place around 3 pm on Friday.
Of the seven victims, six died on the spot while one breathed his last on the way to a hospital, Hasmat said. He, however, could not confirm the identities of the victims immediately.
