The Rajshahi University (RU) administration has filed a case against seven students for fraudulent activities during admission in the academic year 2021-22.
Registrar Professor Abdus Salam filed this case at Motihar Police Station on Tuesday.
The accused in the case are - Yashir Arafat (20) of Islamic History and Culture Department, Alif Hossain (20), Fisheries Department, Al Shams Tamim (19) of Public Administration Department, Nazrul Islam of Folklore Department, Shishir Ahmed (21) of Public Administration Department, Fazlul Karim Mahin (23) of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE) Department and Shafiullah (26), former student of Law Department.
The legal action has been taken following the Public Examination Offences Act- 1980.
