Customs officials recovered 64 gold bars, weighing 7.5 kg, from Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram.
The gold was recovered from Oman Air's WY 311 around 9:45pm on Friday.
Shah Amanat International Airport's Director Group Captain Taslim Ahmed confirmed the matter.
Legal action is being taken regarding the matter, he said.
