A batch of 78 people including Bangladeshi, Thai and other nationals, who were stranded in Thailand amid Covid-19 situation, arrived in Dhaka Saturday.
A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG 4089) carrying them landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 5:00 am.
Repatriation of the 78 people was facilitated by the Bangladesh Embassy in Bangkok.
The flight was arranged on self-payment basis in line with the Bangladesh government’s commitment to extend all possible assistance and support for repatriation of stranded Bangladeshis abroad.
