Customs officials on Sunday seized 88 gold bars weighing 10.22kg at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The gold bars were seized from a Biman flight that landed at the airport from Sharjah, Customs Detective and Investigation Department Revenue Officer Shafiqul Islam said.
The value of the gold is around Tk 7 crore.
A case was lodged with Airport Thana in this connection.
