Bangladesh is witnessing widespread violence and wanton destruction amid the non-cooperation movement, organised by the students’ platform Boishommo Birodhi Chhatra Andolon seeking change in the government.

Throughout Sunday, protesters clashed with leaders and activists of Awami League and its affiliated organisations, and the law enforcement personnel all over the country.

At least 92 people, including police personnel, have been killed in these incidents in 16 districts. Hundreds have been injured as well.

Till be filing of this report, 22 people – including 13 policemen in Sirajganj, 6 in Narsingdi, 5 in Feni, 5 in Rangpur, 4 in Kishoreganj, 4 in capital Dhaka, 4 in Bogura, 4 in Magura, 3 in Munshiganj, 3 in Bhola, 3 in Pabna, 3 in Cumilla with policemen, 2 in Sylhet, 2 in Joypurhat 1, 1 in Habiganj, and 1 in Barishal lost their lives.
