Ninety-five people died of Covid-19 in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours till 8:00am on Wednesday, taking its tally to 10,683, said Director General of Health Services.
Besides, 4,280 people tested positive for the virus during the same period, bringing the total number of infections to 732,060.
The number of recoveries now stands at 635,183 with 7,072 patients got cured from the virus in the 24 hours, said the DGHS.
The government on Tuesday extended the ongoing nationwide lockdown till April 28 to curb the spread of a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
