Bangladesh registered 98 Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours till 8:00 am on Thursday, taking its tally to 10,781, Director General of Health Services said in a press release.
Besides, 4,014 people tested positive during the same period, bringing the total number of infections to 736,074.
The positivity rate dopped to 14.63 from Wednesday’s 15.07 in slight improvement of the situation.
To curb the transmission of the virus, the government imposed a ‘strict’ lockdown for seven days from April 14. The restrictions were later extended for another week until April 28.
