The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has sent letters to the Health Ministry asking it to provide information on all doctors who have been transferred on various grounds since late March.
Copies of the letter signed by ACC Director Mir MdZainul Abedin Shebly, head of the investigation team, were sent to the health ministry, director general (DG) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and DG, secretary and director of Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA).
Some medics were coincidentally transferred after they raised questions over substandard masks, gloves and personal protective equipment.
On June 18, the ACC formed an enquiry committee to probe graft allegations over N-95 masks, PPE and safety gear procurement anomalies at Central Medical Stores Depot (CMSD).
