Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday said it was looking into wealth information of the family members of MP (Member of Parliament) Haji Selim.
ACC commissioner (Investigation) Md Mozammel Haque said, "We are collecting information regarding illegal wealth possesed by MP Haji Selim and his family members. We will investigate if any irregularity is found in the collected information. Action will be taken inline with law”.
Also a ward councillor, Hazi Selim's son Irfan’s councillorship has been suspended. He is currently behind bars facing two cases filed by the RAB (Rapid Action Battalion).
