ACC to investigate Regent Hospital corruptions

The Anti-corruption Commission on Thursday said that it will investigate the corruption allegations against Regent Hospital.

Secretary of ACC Md Delwar Bhakt made the revelations while talking with reporters at the headquarter of the anti-graft body.

He said "Irregularities of Regent Hospital came to our notice and we will investigate the issue. We will soon begin investigating the chairman of Regent Hospital Md Shahed".

He added ACC will summon officials of the health ministry and DGHS for questioning as part of the investigation.

Dilwar also said health officials will be summoned regarding the ongoing N-95 mask corruption.ACC is carrying out an investigation in this regard

ACC also summoned the owner of Lexicon Merchandise and Technocrat Limited Md. Motazzaroul Islam Mithu.

Replying to the notice he said that he is staying in the US on health grounds since 2015 and requested he ACC to investigate the mask and PPE scam so that the real culprit gets punished.
