Actor Farooque in ICU

Renowned actor Akbar Hossain Pathan, popularly known as Farooque, has been taken to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a Singapore hospital.

He was doing well until last night. But on Saturday morning his physical condition deteriorated, said his niece Asma Pathan Rumpa.

Later, he was taken to the hospital, where doctors placed him in ICU, she added.
