Advance sale of train tickets begins Mar 24

The Bangladesh Railway will start selling train tickets in advance from March 24 ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. Bangladesh Railway Acting Director General Sardar Shahadat Ali made the disclosure in a press conference in the city's Rail Bhaban on Wednesday.

He said passengers will be able to purchase the tickets of April 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 on March 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 respectively. Return train tickets sale for April 13 will start from April 3, he added.

For a hassle-free service for the passengers in the holy month of Ramadan, cent percent railway tickets will be available online, he said.
