Air Force chief departs for 3-day India visit

Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan has departed on a three-day official visit to India on Sunday.

The air force chief was accompanied by his wife and two delegated on this trip, according to an Inter-Service Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) press release.

He will start the visit by paying homage to the valour and sacrifices of Indian Armed Forces members at Amar Jawan Jyoti in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Next, he will pay courtesy calls on India's Air Chief Marshall VR Chaudhari and bilateral relations and mutual cooperation between the armed forces of the two neighbouring countries.

He will also pay similar visits to India’s Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane and Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar.

The air force chief is also scheduled to explore military and civilian establishments at Mumbai and Chandigarh.
