AKM Mustaque Ali, executive director of Incidin Bangladesh, passed away on Wednesday at a Bangkok hospital while undergoing treatment there. He was 52.
His body was brought back to Dhaka and taken to his Banani residence on Thursday. Later his body was kept at the mortuary of BIRDEM, read a press release.
Mustaque Ali is survived by his wife and one son.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Dhaka University mosque after Jumma prayer on Friday. He will be buried at Rayerbazar Intellectual Graveyard.
