Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujan has said Awami League (AL) government will always remain by people like in the past.
He said this while distributing blankets among 1000 poor and cold-hit people in separate places including Banghari union, Marea union, Sakoa union in Boda upazila on Friday afternoon.
The AL-led present government is thinking about the misery of common people as it has ensured all facilities to free people from poverty and mitigate their cold-hit sufferings, he said.
The minister said the government has done massive development in the country.
He said the government is also providing the poor and under-privileged persons with rice at 15 taka per kg, paka house, electricity, constructing road as well as disable, widow and old age allowances.
Sakoa Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Hafijul Islam, Marea UP Chairman and AL President Abu Ansar Rejaul Karim and Banghari union former chairman and AL President Abul Kalam Azad Abu accompanied the minister.
