Operations have resumed at all 639 police stations across the country as of Thursday, authorities confirmed.
Police Headquarters (PHQ) in a message said that all police stations have returned to regular duties, including 110 in metropolitan areas and 529 in district regions.
Additionally, 24 Government Railway Police (GRP) stations have also resumed their activities, it said.
The PHQ further said that, as of Thursday, 534 firearms recently looted from police stations, police lines, outposts, and other locations have been recovered.
A total of 10,219 rounds of ammunition, 359 tear gas shells, and 142 sound grenades have also been retrieved, the PHQ added.
Most police stations suspended operations following the fall of the Sheikh Hasina-led government on August 5, amid a wave of attacks on police facilities across the country amid a mass upsurge.
Subsequently, Home Affairs Adviser M Sakhawat Hossain strictly ordered police personnel to return to their posts immediately.
