Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) on Sunday removed all the wastes of animals, which were slaughtered on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul Azha, in just nine hours as it announced to do the task within 12 hours.
DSCC cleaners began works to remove the wastes from city streets under 58 wards at 2:00pm and completed works around 11:00pm, said a press release.
A total of 7,139 tonnes of animal wastes have been removed from the areas of DSCC.
