Another Oxygen Express of Indian Railways carrying 200 tonnes of Oxygen reached Bangladesh at around 10:30pm on Tuesday.
The second consignment of 200 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) for the treatment of Covid-19 patients crossed Benapole port on Tuesday, said Saiduzzaman, Benapole railway station master.
"The train left for Sirajganj, west of Bangabandhu Bridge Tuesday night after completing all the formalities at customs and port. After emptying the oxygen there, the train will return to India," he added.
The importer of this oxygen is Linde Bangladesh.
Earlier on July 24, the first consignment of 'Oxygen Express' entered Bangladesh through the same port with 200 tonnes of oxygen.
