Another member of Bangladesh Police, TSI Md Shariful Islam has died of coronavirus while undergoing treatment at Impulse Hospital Jhenaidah Covid Hospital. He was 55.
He died at around 3 pm on Friday (July 24). His home town was in Magura district.
He was stationed at Jhenaidah Sadar outpost in Khulna range.
Confirming the matter, Assistant Inspector General (media) of the Police Headquarters Md Sohel Rana said, Shariful’s body has been sent to his village home where in the presence of senior officers of the district police, burial will be held at the family graveyard as per the religious provisions.”
