Another ride-sharing biker has set his motorcycle on fire after a traffic sergeant issued him a fine in the capital’s Katabon road.
The incident happened when the sergeant fined the biker, Ilias Mia, Tk 1,000 for violating traffic rules, said MM Morshed, officer-in-charge of Lalbagh Police Station.
Ilias Mia already had two earlier unpaid fines amounting to Tk 4,000, the OC said.
Earlier on September 27, another biker, Shawkat Ali, set his motorcycle on fire in a similar incident in Dhaka.
