Sharmin Jahan, the owner of Aparajita Trade International has been arrested from Shahbagh area in the capital.
The Detective Branch of Police made the arrest on Friday (July 24) night.
Deputy police commissioner of Ramna division confirmed the news to the reporters. He said, Sharmin was held from Shahbagh area at around 10:30 pm tonight.
She was arrested in a case filed by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) charging her for supplying fake masks to the hospital.
