The appointment of Mohammad Sagar Hossain as Assistant Private Secretary (APS) to President Md Shahabuddin has been cancelled after just 22 days.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Sunday cancelling the appointment as per the president's intention.
Earlier on August 6, a notification was issued appointing Sagar Hossain and Azizul Haque to two posts as the president's APS.
Today's notification did not mention anything as to why Sagar's appointment was being scrapped.
