Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal paid a courtesy call on Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the ruler of the Emirate of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), at latter’s office in Fujairah on Thursday.
During the meeting, they underscored the need for working together for the growth and development of political relations between Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates.
Later, the minister also met Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Fujairah, UAE.
Director General of Department of Immigration and Passports (DIP) Maj Gen Md Ayub Chowdhury, Additional Secretary of the Security Services Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs Abdullah Al Masud Chowdhury and Ambassador of Bangladesh to UAE Mohammed Abu Zafar were present, among others, on the occasion.
