Noted journalist and novelist Rahat Khan has passed away on Friday night.
He breathed his last at 8:30pm at his Eskaton Garden residence due to old age complications.
His wife Arpana Khan confirmed the news to the media.
He will be laid to rest in Banani Graveyard sometime on Saturday.
"The time hasn't been fixed yet. His body may be taken to Press Club, Bangla Academy and Shaheed Minar," Arpana Khan said.
Rahat Khan was a former editor of The Daily Ittefaq.
