The court has also placed Regent Group's managing director Masud Parvez on a fresh remand of 21 days in three cases after police produced him before the court after the expiry of his ten-day remand and prayed for another 30-day remand.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury passed the order on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, police requested the court for a 40-day remand to grill Shahed Karim in four cases filed with various police stations.
