The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh has added seven more countries to its travel ban list to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the country.
The countries added are Bahrain, Bolivia, Malaysia, Maldives, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uruguay.
The list already included Argentina, Brazil, India and Nepal.
Earlier, travel ban was lifted from Oman, Iran, South Africa, Tunisia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Georgia and Mongolia as the Covid situation improved in these countries.
Earlier on May 1, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) allowed conditional operation of international flights in the country.
